Content Use Policy

The following policy applies to all photographs and videos (“content”) shared with ACFEA Tour Consultants, Inc. in North America.

By sharing content with ACFEA, you are agreeing to the terms outlined below.

Sharing content with ACFEA Tour Consultants is defined as:

1) emailing it to [email protected],

2) on Facebook: tagging (@ACFEA), posting photos or videos to our Page (fb.com/acfea) or using #acfea in a photo or vidoe’s comments or description,

3) on Instagram: tagging @acfea or using #acfea in a post’s title or description, and

4) on Twitter: tagging @acfea or using #acfea in a post.

Permission to repost or use content may be requested a variety of ways, including: via a comment from the ACFEA account or direct message from the ACFEA account, via the hashtag #yesacfea in a comment, via ACFEA’s Google content form, or given explicitly in a direct message, email, or in person. For all social media platforms, the original account must be the person to give permission via an ACFEA tag, hashtag, or reply to the ACFEA comment or message. A comment with the tag or hashtag by another user will not be taken as permission for us to use the photo.

Granting permission to repost or use content by any of the above stated means includes permission for cross-posting among ACFEA’s other social media platforms. Further uses of your content – including but not limited to on acfea.com, in online ads, and in printed materials such as our newsletter, printed ads, or further promotional items – will be requested separately. If we initially use your content on acfea.com, in online ads, or in printed materials, permission granted for that use includes all other uses, unless you specify otherwise at the time of granting permission.

All photos or videos will be credited to the either the first and last name of the person or the group account which shared the content, or the username on Instagram or Twitter within those platforms, unless it is requested  otherwise at the time of granting permission. The group name and basic tour details will likely also be shared, but not the names of any group members.

We will pay $50 for any photo or video chosen for printed or online materials, with the exception of social media and email newsletters, for a maximum of $100 total per person. No payment will be made for content posted or reposted on social media. If you are a professional photographer with different rates, please contact us to discuss them. If your photo of a group appears in a concert program ad or other sponsorship item for that group, no payment for the photo will be made.

By submitting a photo and/or video to an official ACFEA contest, you are agreeing to the terms outlined in the contest rules in addition to those found here. If a contest entry wins and is awarded prize money, additional payment for photo use in promotional materials will not be made.

If you would like us to remove a photo or video of yours from a social media post, please email [email protected].

If you hold the copyright to a photo or video that you believe has been shared with us illegally, infringing on your copyright, please email [email protected].
