The tour season is in full swing, and we’re busy buzzing around the country – and the world – making sure all our tours are going smoothly.
But we wanted to send out some well-deserved congratulations to some groups who have had particularly notable tours recently.
Our congratulations to:
- Sharon Paul and the University of Oregon Chamber Choir on winning the Fleischmann Trophy at the Cork International Choral Festival
- Georgia State University Singers, who competed in the prestigious Florilege Vocal de Tours. They placed second and got the third prize (no first prize was given).
- Deanna Joseph, their director, who won the Conductor’s Prize
- Paul Raaen and the Brunswick Blue Notes for raising €3,500 for Berliner Arbeitslosenzentrum (Berlin center for the unemployed) at a benefit concert
